Rolando McClain's charges dropped
Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain is going to avoid jail time or a lengthy NFL suspension despite being arrested on misdemeanor assault and firearms charges for allegedly holding a gun beside a man's head and firing it into the air one year ago.
According to McClain's attorney, Harvey Steinberg, a judge in Alabama dismissed all charges against the former Raiders first-round pick, who is third on the team in tackles.
