Redskins sign Jeremy Trueblood
ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Redskins have signed free agent offensive lineman Jeremy Trueblood, giving the team another inexpensive contender for the vacant right tackle position.
Trueblood has started 84 games over seven NFL seasons, all with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He lost his starting job after one game last year and finished the season on injured reserve.
Tyler Polumbus was the starter at right tackle last year for the Redskins, but he is an unrestricted free agent.
