The initial rush of NFL free agency has come and gone, with players such as Mike Wallace, Wes Welker, Paul Kruger, Steven Jackson and Greg Jennings finding new homes.

But the pool of remaining talent is far from shallow, as a number of quality players whose contracts expired or were released by their previous team remain unemployed.

Deals can come together quickly in free agency, and many of these players may not remain on the market for much longer.

Here's a look at five deals that should happen based on a team's need and player's skill set, which will also help to shift the balance of power in the NFL.

1. Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha to the New Orleans Saints

There's an element of buyer beware associated with Asomugha. He's not the elite cornerback who signed with Philadelphia during the 2011 NFL offseason, but he's also a better player than what he showed in two seasons with the Eagles. For the 31-year-old, it's about fit.
