Darius Slay has knee surgery
Detroit Lions second-round pick Darius Slay underwent arthroscopic knee surgery for a torn meniscus Friday and will not take part in the team's rookie minicamp, which begins this Friday, according to a league source.
Doctors discovered the knee injury was not a severe issue and they believe he could play in 10 days if he had to, the source said.
Slay will be ready for training camp, per a league source.
