Scheme changes for the Chiefs
What to expect on both sides of the ball in Kansas City in 2013
It's usually assumed that a team coming off a 2-14 season is devoid of talent, but that is not the case with the Kansas City Chiefs. They had six players make the Pro Bowl and have playmakers on almost every level on both sides of the ball.
This offseason, the Chiefs seem to have solved their biggest two concerns: addressing the quarterback position with the Alex Smith trade and hiring a more experienced coaching staff led by Andy Reid. They spent wisely in free agency, were rock solid in the draft and Reid has assembled a strong staff. They might not be a playoff team yet, but what I see on film leads me to believe that they will be the most improved team in the NFL this season.
