Asa Jackson suspended 8 games

Baltimore Ravens reserve cornerback Asa Jackson has been suspended without pay for the team's first eight games of the 2013 regular season for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances.

This is the second time in nine months that Jackson has been disciplined by the NFL. He was suspended for four games in December for violating the same policy.

"My reaction to that is that you've got to follow the rules," coach John Harbaugh said after practice Friday. ...
