Continuing our series looking at the top graded performers from the 2012 regular season at Pro Football Focus, we turn our attention to the offensive linemen. You won't find these guys in any stat sheet, but that doesn't stop us from reviewing the tape and grading their performance on every single play.

We've broken the offensive line down by position and we're giving you our top graded players from a season that saw some exceptional performances and some dominant individual run-blocking performances coming to the fore.

Note: More information on Pro Football Focus' grading system can be found here.

Staley

Top 5 Tackles

1. Joe Staley, San Francisco 49ers
2012 Grade: +40.4

Analysis: The 49ers had a dominant O-line in 2012, and the most consistently impressive member was Staley at left tackle. While his eight sacks allowed might be among the league's most, if you look beyond that his 26 pressures allowed are among the league's fewest and his run blocking, both in terms of isolated dominance and consistency, was unmatched by any other tackle in the league. If you're looking for a prototypical pass-protecting tackle, you might look elsewhere. But for all-around execution last season, look no further than Staley.
