DeAndre Hopkins cleared to play

HOUSTON -- Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins passed his concussion test and was cleared to play in Monday night's season opener against the San Diego Chargers.

Hopkins suffered the concussion against the Miami Dolphins during the Texans' second preseason game. He missed the team's final two preseason games, having not passed the NFL's concussion protocol.
