Connor Barth's deal restructured

TAMPA, Fla. -- The offseason charity basketball game during which Connor Barth tore his Achilles tendon will cost the Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker $1.8 million in salary for this season, according to a league source.

Barth's contract has been restructured to drop his 2013 base salary from $2.3 million to $500,000. The Bucs also adjusted Barth's contract for 2014, reducing his base salary from $3.15 million to $2 million. Barth can recoup all of that money through a roster bonus that would ...
