Nate Burleson undergoes surgery
Nate Burleson hopes to return to play for the Detroit Lions by November at the latest after undergoing surgery Wednesday to repair two broken bones in his left arm, a team source told ESPN NFL Insider Ed Werder.
Ken Sarnoff, Burleson's agent, tweeted Wednesday afternoon that his client's surgery to repair the broken radius and ulna in his left forearm went well.
Burleson plans to be with his teammates on the sideline for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears, the source told Werder.
