Chargers get ticket sales extension

SAN DIEGO -- For at least another day, the San Diego Chargers averted becoming the first team in more than a decade not to have a "Monday Night Football" home game televised locally in their market.

The Chargers announced Friday that the team applied for and received a 24-hour extension to try and sell nearly 9,000 tickets to lift the local television blackout of Monday night's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
