Desmond Bishop out for season

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Minnesota Vikings linebacker Desmond Bishop tore the ACL in his right knee Sunday and will need season-ending surgery, coach Leslie Frazier said Monday.

It is the second season-ending injury in as many years for Bishop, who missed all of last season for the Green Bay Packers after tearing his hamstring in the preseason opener.
