Steelers waive RB Isaac Redman

PITTSBURGH -- Isaac Redman, who opened the season as the Pittsburgh Steelers' starting running back, now finds himself looking for work.

The Steelers waived Redman on Monday to make room for inside linebacker Kion Wilson on their 53-man roster.

Redman's days in Pittsburgh were numbered following rookie Le'Veon Bell's emergence at running back and his own struggles through the first three games of the season.
