Peyton's arm is not the problem

Why the latest narrative on the Broncos QB is simply incorrect

Following the Denver Broncos' first loss of the season, a Sunday night defeat at Indianapolis, there has been a little chatter about Peyton Manning being off his game. I was a little surprised by it, considering Manning threw for 386 yards and three touchdowns, but maybe Peyton has just set the bar that high. But there was one complaint in particular I was hearing the most: Peyton's arm strength didn't look right.

This has been a familiar refrain since Manning returned from multiple neck surgeries to suit up in Denver, and it was also scrutinized following the Broncos' loss to the Baltimore Ravens in last season's playoffs. Last Sunday night against the Colts, it resurfaced after a few throws fluttered from his hand. So is this a problem for Peyton that could come back and bite the Broncos later this season? After consulting the game film, the answer is clear to me -- absolutely not.

But there is an issue I saw that should have Denver fans far more concerned.
