Baylor DT Andrew Billings to forego senior season

Baylor defensive tackle Andrew Billings will forego his senior season and enter the NFL draft, he announced Tuesday.

Billings was the co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year this season after leading the Bears with 5½ sacks to go along with 14 tackles for loss.

He becomes the third Baylor underclassman to declare for the draft, joining wide receiver Corey Coleman and cornerback Xavien Howard.

With Billings leaving, the Bears will have just one returning starter on their offensive or defensive lines next season in center Kyle Fuller.

The Bears were ranked No. 3 in ESPN's Way-Too-Early Top 25.
