With the No. 79 overall pick in the third round, Eagles select G Isaac Seumalo from Oregon State. Could fill hole at LG. #PHIPick.

Bills have selected Ohio State DT Adolphus Washington at No. 80, their only third-round pick. He adds a much-needed big body to the Bills' defensive line. Potential fit as a DE in Rex Ryan's 3-4 defense.

David Newton ESPN Staff Writer

The Panthers traded up to No. 77 to get West Virginia cornerback Daryl Worley, 6-1, 202 pounds. A collective effort after selecting James Bradberry in the second round to replace Josh Norman.

Titans third-round safety Kevin Byard says the ball skills that helped him collect 19 picks started as high school QB and WR. Plans to be immediate impact guy on special teams and fight for a starting job. Knows they just signed veteran Rashad Johnson as free safety, too. Doesn't have a favorite player. "I'm my favorite NFL player now."

Mike Reiss ESPN New England Patriots reporter

With their initial third-round pick, No. 78, the Patriots selected OL Joe Thuney of NC State. Thuney (6-foot-4 5/8, 304 pounds) played all five positions in college, finishing at left tackle, and is considered an intelligent player.

Phil Sheridan ESPN Staff Writer

Eagles' pick in third round coming up. Cleveland just traded No. 77 pick (which came from Eagles) to Carolina. Panthers took CB Daryl Worley of West Virginia. Eagles on clock with eye toward RB or OL.

Paul Gutierrez ESPN Staff Writer

Raiders select Michigan State defensive end Shilique Calhoun, the third straight defensive player selected by Oakland. The Ted Hendricks Award finalist had 10,5 sacks for the Spartans last season so he is more of pass-rushing threat,

Steelers will like this quote from Sean Davis: "I'm big as a safety, strong as a linebacker but as quick and fast as a corner."

Mike Reiss ESPN New England Patriots reporter

Patriots top draft pick, CB Cyrus Jones of Alabama, held his introductory conference call and this was my biggest takeaway: A film session with coach Bill Belichick the day before the Crimson Tide's pro day was a big part of the team's evaluation process. Jones also relayed that Alabama's coaches joked with him that he should have an office at the facility because he was always there watching film.

Sheil Kapadia ESPN Writer

Seahawks area scout Jim Nagy gushed about Alabama DT Jarrn Reed, calling him the "best run stuffer I've seen in a long time." He said late last season, Reed showed more pass-rushing chops, and in Alabama's scheme, he wasn't always asked to get after the quarterback. Reed has an excellent chance to start right away at nose tackle, and he may have the potential to turn into a three-down player down the road.

Bob Holtzman ESPN

49ers GM Trent Baalke has now passed on Michigan St QB Connor Cook twice. When asked if they're no longer considering a quarterback Baakle said, "I wouldn't say we've moved on from any position. We're going to trust the board."

Dan Graziano ESPN Staff Writer

Darian Thompson had 19 career interceptions at Boise State. "He's very instinctive," Giants coach Ben McAdoo said. "He has tremendous ball skills, but the instincts and the twitch make it happen for him."

Adam Teicher ESPN Staff Writer

The Chiefs get their corner in the third round and its KeiVarae Russell of Notre Dame. Three year starter in college.
