Giants watching things fall their way

Talk about a fruitful vacation. Since they last played, the Giants have watched their NFC East brethren lose four of five games. A win on Sunday would leave New York up two games in the division with five weeks to go.

With Harrison Smith out on Sunday against the Falcons, the Vikings will give second-year safety Antone Exum his first career start, according to a league source. The Vikings have had high hopes for the converted cornerback, who should give them a better option in coverage than Robert Blanton. Smith's injury doesn't figure to be a long-term ailment, but if Exum performs well on Sunday, he might have a chance to eventually unseat Andrew Sendejo.

Ravens starting LT Eugene Monroe (shoulder) and LG Kelechi Osemele (knee) both doubtful. Monroe has only played three full games this season. Given that C Jeremy Zuttah (pectoral) is on IR, Ravens will start three backup offensive linemen.

Reports: Danny Amendola out vs. Broncos

New England won't have Amendola against Denver's vaunted defense Sunday, according to multiple media reports. Amendola injured his knee in the Patriots' win over the Bills on Monday. With Julian Edelman and Aaron Dobson out and other WRs ailing, the Pats are down to two healthy WRs (Brandon LaFell and undrafted free agent Chris Harper).

Ravens coach John Harbaugh on lack of buzz for the "Monday Night Football" game between Baltimore and Cleveland: "We're not sitting there, saying, 'I wonder what everybody thinks about us.' We're not like in seventh grade here, (saying), 'What are they texting about us? What does Snapchat say?'"

ICYMI: Cam Newton dabbing and relaxing

Panthers QB Cam Newton was caught dabbing on camera during the Hornets-Cavaliers game.

Redskins cornerback Chris Culliver was fined $11,567 for unsportsmanlike conduct during Sunday's game vs. Carolina, a league official confirmed. He was not fined for his hit on tight end Greg Olsen. But Culliver made a slashing gesture across his throat after scoring a touchdown that was later overturned. During the week leading into the game the Redskins defenders had talked about cutting the music so QB Cam Newton wouldn't dance. Mike Jones of the Washington Post first reported the fine.

Rodgers struggling to click with WRs

After a scorching start to the season, Aaron Rodgers and his wide receivers haven't been on the same page in the last four games. ESPN Stats & Info breaks it down.

Tom Brady as you've never seen him

When your dad jumps out of a leaf pile dressed as a turkey to surprise (scare?) you, it's pretty cool. When your dad is Tom Brady, it's even cooler.

When you're unbeaten...

And you have the night off.
