The Jets lost Chad Morton Monday to the Redskins after a ruling by an arbitrator. But that's not where this story ends. The arbitrator, Richard Bloch, is apparently a Redskins season ticket holder, according to the New York Post. Bloch ruled that Jets didn't properly match the five-year, $7.95 million restricted free-agent offer sheet to Morton, failing to match a "voidable" years clause in the contract. "Chad Morton is going to look great playing in burgundy and gold, and I want to see how the Jets spin this one now," Redskins owner Dan Snyder told ESPN.com about the decision. "By awarding the player to the Redskins, Bloch clearly exceeded his authority under the CBA," Dennis Curran, the NFL Management Council senior VP, said. The Jets cannot appeal, however.
