Palmer's home among those evacuated in California

CINCINNATI -- A home owned by Cincinnati Bengals quarterback
Carson Palmer was among those evacuated this week because of the
wildfires in southern California.

Palmer said his parents and his brother, Jordan, were among the
hundreds of thousands of southern California residents who had to
leave their homes because of the fires. Some residents were allowed
to return home Thursday.

"I've heard that we're evacuated and I'm waiting to see what
happens," Palmer said. 'I'm kind of busy out here. I try to let
my wife handle it and take care of everything.

"My folks are out of there, they're out of town, and [Jordan]
is safe and away."
