Billick says he'll be back; team mum on issue

Seven straight losses should have a coach on the hot seat, but the Baltimore Ravens' Brian Billick isn't feeling the heat.

"I'm going to be back," Billick said at his news conference Monday, according to The Baltimore Sun.

However, a team spokesman wouldn't confirm to the newspaper that owner Steve Bisciotti had told Billick his job was safe.

Billick agreed to a four-year contract extension after Baltimore's 13-3 season in 2006. He also led the Ravens to a victory in Super Bowl XXXV over the New York Giants.

Baltimore (4-9) visits the winless Miami Dolphins this Sunday.
