Josh Cribbs misses another practice

BEREA, Ohio -- Browns wide receiver/return specialist Josh Cribbs didn't practice again, but Cleveland coach Eric Mangini has not yet ruled him out for Sunday's game in Jacksonville.

Cribbs dislocated three toes on his right foot in last week's overtime loss to the New York Jets. He did not practice this week. Mangini has been optimistic about Cribbs' return, and said he will wait until Saturday before making a decision for the Jaguars game.

Cribbs is listed as questionable along with starting outside linebacker Matt Roth, who did not practice Friday because of an undisclosed illness. Safety Mike Adams also remained sidelined with an abdominal injury.

Cornerback Sheldon Brown (shoulder), offensive linemen Eric Steinbach (calf) and Floyd Womack (knee) returned to practice after missing two days. All three are questionable.

If Cribbs can't play, newly signed Clifton Smith will return kickoffs. He was a Pro Bowler for Tampa Bay in 2008.
