Who are Scouts Inc.?

The analysts and talent evaluators at ESPN's Scouts Inc. watch games, break down film and use their extensive experience and contacts in their respective sports to provide the deepest and most detailed scouting reports available anywhere.

Started as an NFL-based scouting organization, Scouts Inc. has added experts in high school recruiting, professional and college basketball and baseball. In the future, look for expansion into other sports whose fans could benefit from the in-depth knowledge and expertise of professionals in that particular sport.

For the fan who wants to know how the games are actually played, there's no one better.

Professional Football

Jeremy Green

Jeremy Green
Our director of pro scouting, Green has been an NFL scout for 11 years, including two as director of pro personnel for the Cleveland Browns. He is the son of Arizona Cardinals head coach Dennis Green.

Todd McShay

Todd McShay
Our director of college scouting, McShay has been evaluating prospects for the NFL draft since 1998. During that time, numerous NFL teams have relied on his reports to supplement their draft scouting.

Gary Horton

Gary Horton
Horton has been a football talent evaluator for more than 30 years. He spent 10 years in the NFL and 10 years at the college level before launching a private scouting firm called "The War Room," which later became Football Scouts, Inc.

Keith Kidd

Keith Kidd
Kidd has spent 14 years in NFL front offices, including key roles in the personnel departments of the Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots.

Steve Muench

Steve Muench
Muench has been with Scouts Inc. since 2002, evaluating both NFL and college players and breaking down NFL matchups. His current focus in on the NFL draft.

Matt Williamson

Before joining Scouts Inc., Williamson was a scout for the Cleveland Browns. Before that, he was director of football operations at Akron and spent three years as a recruiting assistant at Pittsburgh.

Jason Langendorf

Jason Langendorf
Our fantasy football expert, Langendorf digests what our NFL scouts have to say about players and matchups and translates it into projections for our fantasy-game players.

Recruiting

Tom Luginbill

Tom Luginbill
Our national recruiting director, Luginbill has extensive experience as a player, coach and scout at all levels of football. He spent three years as a pro personnel evaluator for Scouts Inc., coached in NFL Europe, the XFL and the AFL, and played quarterback at Palomar College (1992-93), Georgia Tech (1994) and Eastern Kentucky (1995).

Craig Haubert

Before joining Scouts Inc. as a high-school talent evaluator, Haubert accumulated more than a decade of coaching experience. He was an assistant at the University of Nebraska-Omaha and also served as the FB/LB coach and director of football operations for the Detroit Fury of the Arena Football League.

Basketball

John Carroll

John Carroll
Carroll joined Scouts Inc. after nine years as an NBA coach, including a seven-year tenure with the Boston Celtics that concluded with a four-month stint as interim head coach in 2003-04. Before joining the NBA, Carroll spent six years as head coach at Duquesne University and seven years at Seton Hall as an assistant to head coach P.J. Carlesimo.

Bob Gibbons
A veteran of 30-plus years covering basketball recruiting, Gibbons is widely considered to be one of the top recruiting analysts in the nation.

Baseball

Keith Law
The newest addition to the Scouts Inc. lineup, Law has spent the last four years as Special Assistant to the General Manager of the Toronto Blue Jays. Before that, he was a writer and editor for Baseball Prospectus.
