Week 10: Jags' duo has finishing touch

David Garrard/Mike Thomas

Quarterback/Wide receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars

Garrard passed for a career-high 342 yards and two touchdowns, including an amazing 50-yard Hail Mary to Thomas that gave the Jaguars a 31-24 victory over Houston. Thomas had eight catches for 149 yards, topping his previous best single-game yardage total by 60. He had 89 yards against the Broncos in the opening week of the season.

Fred Jackson

Running back, Buffalo Bills

The Bills finally notched their first victory, thanks mostly to Jackson. The fourth-year running back rushed for a season-best 133 yards and scored two TDs as Buffalo held off the Lions 14-12. Jackson had a 1-yard TD run in the first quarter and scored on a 16-yard catch off a shovel pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick on Buffalo's opening drive of the second half.

Devin Hester

Wide receiver, Chicago Bears

Hester had a 19-yard TD grab in the second quarter, but his biggest impact on Sunday came in the return game. Hester returned a punt 42 yards in the second quarter and then ripped off a 68-yard kickoff return in the third quarter of the Bears' 27-13 victory over Minnesota. The latter return set up a Robbie Gould 37-yard field goal that gave Chicago a seven-point lead. Hester finished with 147 return yards.

Rob Gronkowski

Tight end, New England Patriots

Gronkowski entered Sunday night with three TD catches on the season. He equaled that total in the Patriots' 39-26 victory over Pittsburgh. Gronkowski caught TD passes of 19, 9 and 25 yards from Tom Brady, who torched the Steelers' defense for a season-high 350 yards through the air.

Mike Williams

Wide receiver, Seattle Seahawks

Go ahead and hand the Comeback Player of the Year Award to Williams, who continued his career revival against the Cardinals. Williams matched a career high with 11 catches for 145 yards in the Seahawks' 36-18 victory.

The Broncos' offense

Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow combined for five TD passes (four by Orton) as the Broncos amassed 452 total yards and beat the Chiefs 49-29. Orton was 22-of-34 for 296 yards and did not throw an interception. Even the running game showed up for Denver, which gained 153 yards on 31 carries.

The Colts' defense

With Peyton Manning unable to get the ball in the end zone, the Colts leaned on their defense against Cincinnati. Indianapolis scored 13 points off five turnovers and got two defensive stops in the final 2 minutes, 40 seconds to hold on for a 23-17 victory.

Josh Freeman

Quarterback, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Freeman continued his impressive play in Week 10. The second-year QB completed 18 of 24 passes for 241 yards and two TDs (134.2 rating) to lead Tampa Bay past Carolina 31-16. It was Freeman's fifth game this season without an interception.

Brett Favre

Quarterback, Minnesota Vikings

Favre, whose Vikings needed a victory to remain relevant in the NFC North, had a rough day in Chicago. Favre threw for just 170 yards and three interceptions -- all in the second half -- as Minnesota lost 27-13 and fell to 3-6. Favre now has a league-high 16 interceptions.

Nick Folk

Place-kicker, New York Jets

Sure, the Jets won, but they did so in spite of their place-kicker. Folk missed three field goals in New York's 26-20 overtime victory in Cleveland, including two chip shots. He failed to connect on a 24-yarder in the third quarter, a 25-yarder in the fourth quarter and a 47-yarder in overtime.

The Giants' defense

A dominant force for much of this season, the Giants' D got lit up by the downtrodden Cowboys. New York, which boasted the top-ranked defense entering Week 10, allowed 428 total yards and three Jon Kitna TD passes in a 33-20 loss.

The Titans' quarterbacks

Even with new addition Randy Moss, the Titans' passing game looked futile in a 29-17 loss to Miami. Kerry Collins started at quarterback for Tennessee and struggled through the first half, completing nine of 20 passes for only 51 yards, before departing with a calf injury. Vince Young, hobbled by a bad ankle, replaced Collins and threw for only 92 yards with two turnovers.
