SCOUTING REPORT
Passing game gives Saints the edgeWith so many young players seeing time over the aging veterans such as QB Brad Johnson, WR Tim Brown, TE Ken Dilger, RB Charlie Garner and ROT Todd Steussie, it begs the question of whether the Bucs are conceding this season already to build for the future? For the Saints, however, the future has to be now.

By trading a second-round draft pick and a bright young quarterback prospect (J.T. O'Sullivan) to Green Bay for Mike McKenzie, who fills an immediate need at cornerback, the organization is sending a message that it isn't going to patiently wait around.

Without premier RB Deuce McAllister in the lineup again this week, however, the Saints lack the offensive balance to put any team away without a huge fight. The Bucs have to think that they can take advantage of the Saints while they are at their weakest point.
