Super Bowl XL had more than its share of controversial calls. In fact, official Bill Leavy apologized to the Seahawks years later for bad calls in the fourth quarter. One was a low block called against Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, who was trying to tackle Ike Taylor after Taylor intercepted a pass. The penalty gave Pittsburgh the ball on its own 44, and the Steelers converted the field position into a touchdown pass from Antwaan Randle El to Hines Ward in a 21-10 victory.
