And just as important as the quality of his play was the quantity, since the goal with most first-season QBs is just to get them reps. Bradford certainly did that, putting 590 throws on his odometer (third most in the league) and completing a respectable 60 percent of them despite having precisely zero starting-caliber receivers. He also set rookie records for completions and passing yards. Don't get carried away, though. His 6.0 yards per attempt is indicative of the kid gloves with which Bradford was treated, and while the team drafted a few more possession-style receivers in April, overall we're still underwhelmed with the pass-catching corps. That said, new Rams coordinator Josh McDaniels has a riskier, more exciting passing philosophy than the departed Pat Shurmur.","seasonId":2011,"date":"Mon Jun 20"},"positionRank":32,"totalPoints":84}
