Player News (last updated: November 23, 2009)
News: Breaston (right knee) had a quiet day on Sunday in large part because the Cardinals are using fewer three-receiver sets, the Arizona Republic reports.
Spin: After sputtering in Weeks 1-8, the Cardinals' running game has improved markedly in recent weeks. Arizona is averaging 162 rushing yards per game in its last three contests. An increased reliance on the ground game means more two-receiver sets and fewer chances for Breaston (Arizona's third receiver). With the Cardinals running the ball better and with No. 2 receiver Anquan Boldin finally healthy, Breaston could play a smaller role for the rest of the season. We do, however, expect him to receive significantly more targets than he did on Sunday (when he was not targeted at all). He does not seem to have aggravated his knee injury.

Quick screens aiding Cards offense

Arizona Republic (4 days ago)
Catch a high school football game on Friday night, a Pop Warner contest on Saturday morning, a college game that afternoon and an NFL matchup on Sunday and you will see this play more often than Geico commercials: The quarterback takes the snap and throws quickly to an outside receiver.
