News: Mendenhall racked up 116 total yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs. Spin: Mendenhall carried 21 times for 80 yards but seemed a bit more dangerous out of the backfield Sunday. He had just four receptions but they went for 36 yards and a touchdown (the first receiving touchdown of his career). He also saved a touchdown for the Steelers when Ben Roethlisberger was picked off in the endzone in the fourth quarter. KC's Andy Studebaker raced toward a pick-six, but was chased down by Mendenhall just a few yards shy of the Steelers' endzone. He may have been spelled a bit more by Willie Parker on Sunday, but he is still the focal point of the rushing attack. |
