GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The San Francisco 49ers will be without starting cornerback Carlos Rogers on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers in an NFC wild-card game.
Rogers is inactive because of a hamstring injury he suffered at Arizona in Week 17.
Rogers described the injury as fairly minor, but he didn't practice all week. Because of the bitter weather conditions in Green Bay and the chances for injury aggravation, the 49ers didn't push Rogers on Sunday.
Tarell Brown, a former starter this season, will start for Rogers alongside Tramaine Brock. Eric Wright and newly signed Perrish Cox will play in nickel-and-dime situations.
