Week:

ESPN.com's Power Rankings
This week's rankings were determined by a poll of ESPN.com's NFL staff: writers John Clayton, Len Pasquarelli, Michael Smith, NFL Insider Jeremy Green, Scouts Inc., and ESPN.com NFL editors Peter Lawrence-Riddell and James C. Black.

While the top three (all from the AFC) remained the same this week, there was some shuffling among the NFC's top teams. With six straight wins, the Panthers jumped up to No. 4, replacing the Falcons as the NFC's highest-rated team. The Seahawks, winners of five straight, moved up a spot to No. 5 to round out the top five.

The Falcons were among the big losers this week, falling five spots all the way to No. 9. That's a pretty good indicator that people weren't completely sold on the Falcons even when they were the No. 4-ranked team.

The NFC North made a big move this week, with all four teams moving up in the rankings, including the Bears, who moved to No. 13, their highest ranking of the season. The NFC North has been ripped all year as the worst division in football, and while we're not ready to give that up, the NFC West (with two teams at No. 28 or below) is making its case for that distinction.
