Power Rankings: Chargers bolt to top

Week:

ESPN.com's Power Rankings
The rankings were determined by a poll of ESPN.com's NFL staff -- writers John Clayton, Len Pasquarelli and Michael Smith; Scouts Inc. insiders Jeremy Green and Keith Kidd; and ESPN.com NFL editors Peter Lawrence-Riddell and Joe Wojciechowski.

After two straight comebacks from more than 17 points, the Chargers have jumped up to No. 1 in this week's rankings. Yes, the defense is giving up points, but with LaDainian Tomlinson and Philip Rivers, the Chargers have the NFL's best offense. How many people would have put money down on that at the beginning of the year? The Colts dropped to No. 2 after suffering their first loss of the season.

The Cowboys made a big move, jumping four spots from No. 10 to No. 6. Things couldn't get much better for Tony Romo and you'll really know what we mean when you read the Cowboys comment below. Another team making a big move up the rankings is the Jaguars. With an impressive win over the Giants and a number of teams in front of them losing, the Jaguars moved from No. 16 all the way to No. 9.

Anyway, on to the rankings. You can rank the teams yourself with SportsNation's NFL Power Rankings.
