2010 NFL Power Rankings: Week 8

Updated: October 26, 2010, 2:31 PM ET

The Atlanta Falcons have invaded the top five of the latest ESPN.com NFL Power Rankings, breaking up the all-AFC club that existed in the previous edition.

The Falcons are the NFC's highest-rated team, taking the No. 5 overall spot away from the Indianapolis Colts. The Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Jets, New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens retain spots Nos. 1-4, respectively.

The Ravens and Falcons enjoy byes this Halloween; they survived their scares in Week 7. The rest of the top five is not so lucky.

The Steelers must visit the No. 14 New Orleans Saints, still aching after being upset by the Cleveland Browns. The Jets entertain the No. 10 Green Bay Packers; the Patriots welcome ex-teammate Randy Moss and his No. 19 Minnesota Vikings -- who might or might not have Brett Favre starting at quarterback.
