Our preseason Power Rankings elicited plenty of reactions. Below are some of the comments we received:
Take a chance
Wow guys! You really went out on a limb with your top four picks this year. Let's see, we have all four teams that were in the AFC and NFC Championship games last year. Where I come from, we call that Chicken s---.
What exactly have you seen from Rich Gannon and the Raiders that the rest of us haven't in pre-season??? It's hard to argue the other three teams in your top four, because they have all looked good in pre-season, but geez, come'on, let's stick our necks out there a little.
I'll take Tampa and Pittsburgh in the Superbowl! Sometimes it is good thing to have your emotional leader on the sideline for a while. Gives the rest of the team something to prove!

Giant complaint
If a team returns 20 of the 22 starters from a playoff team, upgrades its biggest weakness and improves its depth, how can you be so down on them? The Giants at 15 is a joke. The Eagles won't even challenge the Giants this year in the East. Giants will finish at worst 12-4. But don't take my word for it, just watch and repost this email in January.

Giant complaint
For once my beloved Titans have not fallen off of our radar. Finally someone is giving them the credit they deserve. I personally feel the should be in the number 3 spot. I know preseason, doesn't' mean a whole lot and the games don't' count but in essence they do when your looking at personnel and productivity.
The top for receivers for the Titans caught the ball very well. I predict that teams will still put 8-9 people in the box to stop Eddie, but once they are gashed by the passing game the will soften up. It will be really interesting to see how the first four games turn out for my Titans.

Can't sink the Fish
Don't be fools ESPN, you know the Dolphins are the best team in the league, and you will see soon. Miami has their strongest team since the Marino era. With the addition of Junior Seau the defense will have the leadership they need to go all the way. Look for the fins to only give up 10 points a game. With their skill in secondary, Jason Taylor and the D-line will make a record number of sacks and create frustration that will lead to turnovers and that means points. Without Pennington, Jets fans shouldn't expect to beat us for a long time ... a long, long time.
