|Scouts Inc.'s take ...|
Although the Buccaneers did a great job containing QB Michael Vick (right), the Falcons still were effective running, using zone running schemes to set up their quick, controlled passing attack. Vick did a nice job using his supporting cast and taking what the Buccaneers' defense gave him against its multiple Cover-2 schemes on the back end.
Defensively, the Falcons loaded up the box with multiple eight-man fronts, forcing the Buccaneers to make plays through the air. Defensive coordinator Ed Donatell did a good job mixing in pressure packages and disguising coverages on the back end. He kept Tampa Bay rookie quarterback Bruce Gradkowski from getting into rhythm. The Bucs replaced Gradkowski late in the game with Tim Rattay.
Dunn carried 11 times for 45 yards, hiking his season total to 997. Mora said he and Norwood would be listed as questionable for next week's home game against Dallas. ... Andersen, who kicked a 23-yard field goal in the fourth quarter, moved within two points of the NFL's career scoring record.
