Ben Roethlisberger's 3 TDs in return lead Steelers past depleted Browns
PITTSBURGH -- With Ben Roethlisberger reveling in the cheers he once feared he might not hear, the Pittsburgh Steelers looked like themselves for the first time all season. They also sounded like the team that loves to intimidate.
To the Cleveland Browns, it was Steelers linebacker James Harrison who was the game's impact player. Twice.Roethlisberger, cheered loudly during his first game in 9½ months, returned from his four-game suspension to throw three touchdown passes, and the Steelers shut down a Browns offense that was depleted by Harrison hits during a 28-10 victory on Sunday.More From ESPN.com
In their own ways, both the Browns' Colt McCoy and Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger gave their teams hope for the future, ESPN.com's James Walker writes. Blog

Research Notes
Ben Roethlisberger's return Sunday sparked a revival in the Steeler's passing attack. If we look at Pittsburgh's first 4 games of the season and compare them with Big Ben's last 4 games (Sunday and the last 3 regular season games of last season), the difference in his presence can't be overstated. Roesthlisberger has averaged almost 310 Pass yds per game which is more than twice as many as Dennis Dixon and Charlie Batch accounted for during Roethlisberger's suspension. Big Ben has also thrown for 10 TD in his last 4 games, and his 3 TD on Sunday alone match the total thrown by Steelers Qbs through their first 4 games.
