Research Notes
In their last 4 games, the Bills have allowed 937 rushing yards. Since Week 4, no other team has allowed more than 665 rushing yards. If the Bills keep on the pace of their last 4 games (234.3 Rush YPG), the Bills would allow 3,240 rush yards this season. That would break the record of the 1978 Bills for the most rush yards allowed in a season (3,228). | ||||||||||||||||||
Ryan Fitzpatrick was very effective inside the numbers on Sunday against the Titans, completing 17-of-21 passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns. The Titans defense entered the game allowing the worst completion percentage (78.3) and most touchdown passes (10) on throws inside the numbers through the first six weeks of the season, and Fitzpatrick took advantage.
