MIAMI -- Two yards from a touchdown on third down, Tom Brady took the snap and fell to the turf curled around the ball, happy to settle for a field goal.

Welker Catches Rice
Wes Welker had 12 receptions in the Patriots' victory over the Dolphins on Sunday. It's the 17th game of 10 or more receptions in his career, putting him into a tie with Jerry Rice atop the all-time list. Welker, however, accomplished the feat in 136 games, compared to 285 for Rice.
