Four people in the van that collided with the club's tour bus died in the accident, which occurred on U.S. 93, the main route between Las Vegas and Phoenix. Spagnola and the others were going to host an event in Las Vegas with about 75 fans before making their way to training camp.

Who carries the ball the most for the Arizona Cardinals will be determined on game-by-game basis, coach Bruce Arians said Thursday. When asked about how many carries RB David Johnson will get per game in 2016, Arians said: "If he's hot, he's staying in there. But there's no script right now for who's toting the ball and how many times." This is in line with Arians' philosophy of riding the hot hand, regardless of position, experience or status on the team.
