The Chiefs begin this morning a three-day camp for rookies, quarterbacks and some players coming off injuries. That last group includes running back Jamaal Charles, who practiced little in the offseason. But expect little or nothing from Charles for these three days even if he's cleared medically. "That isn't what these three days are for," coach Andy Reid said.

Panthers safety Kurt Coleman has agreed to a three-year extension that he will sign on Wednesday, a league source confirmed. The NFL Network first reported the extension of the 28-year-old Coleman, who had a career-best seven interceptions in 2015. Coleman and the Panthers report to training camp at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Wednesday.
