Although it seemed evident that Grady Jarrett would play nose tackle with Paul Soliai gone, Falcons coach Dan Quinn confirmed on 92.9 The Game it would be Jarrett's position in 2016. Jarrett played that role when Soliai was hurt last season. And Jarrett will be listed as NT not DT.

Even after drafting Eli Apple in the first round, the Giants still could use depth at cornerback. And former Bengal Leon Hall, a veteran who can play the nickel position, could offer them that. Fox reports that Hall is visiting the Giants on Tuesday. My understand is that Hall has visited several teams this offseason, and that the big concerns about him are on the medical end of it – particularly a back injury that gave him trouble late last year. If he checks out physically and the Giants' doctors clear him, he makes sense as a signing for them. But don't be surprised if it takes a while.

If there you had questions doubt about how well Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly is recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, look no further than Wednesday's Pro-Am at the Wells Fargo Championship. Kuechly will caddie for tight end Greg Olsen. Yes, the three-time Pro Bowler will carry Olsen's bag for 18 holes. Fully cleared for that, coach Ron Rivera said.

Undrafted player makes emotional speech

Former Oklahoma LB Eric Striker gave a heartfelt speech to his family and friends who came out to support him during the third day of the NFL draft. He signed a free-agent contract with the Bills following the draft.
