Panthers coach Ron Rivera admitted he thought "what if" when he saw wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin in the locker room today. Benjamin was lost for the season with a knee injury in training camp. Rivera said nobody is having to remind Benjamin to eat "clean" after concerns with weight during the offseason.

Panthers DE Jared Allen was trying to explain explain how to chase Russell Wilson when he said you have to "shoot your gun," then caught himself and said he probably shouldn't have said it that way. He eventually got to take your shot" to be politically correct. He jokingly reminded he is an avid hunter. It was a funny moment.

They'll get a head start on preparations for week 7 against Cleveland this week but for now their focus is on improving within. Jones said his leg would have to be cut off or something for him not to play. Coach Dan Quinn said he anticipates Jones (hamstring/toe) facing the Saints on Thursday night after he participated in Tuesday's walkthrough.
