The Panthers have decided to keep undrafted running back Brandon Wegher, who had three preseason touchdowns. Keeping the former Morningside (Sioux City) College star doesn't bode well for backfield mate Jordan Todman, who initially was signed to return kickoff.

As they often are on cut-down weekend, the Bengals were silent Friday. It means their Saturday will be busy. With a roster still at 75, they have 22 moves to make by 4 p.m. ET. One pressing question: what impact will injured LB Vontaze Burfict have on the makeup of the 53-man roster?
