Chairman Clark Hunt on the Chiefs trading out of the first round: "It was a really smart move on (general manager John Dorsey's) part. He felt to some degree the player you would get with the 28th pick would be largely similar to the one we could get at the top of the second round. Being able to add some picks was very appealing to him."

The Seahawks' first pick today is No. 56 overall, but they have assets (three third rounders) if they want to trade up. Two players to keep an eye on with that in mind: Florida DT Jonathan Bullard and Mississippi State DT Chris Jones. They are both athletic, disruptive defensive linemen who fit the Seahawks' scheme. It seems unlikely that either will last to No. 56. But they could be players the Seahawks target if they trade up.

Laremy Tunsil mum on draft day drama
