In need of a fullback to ignite the team's running game, the Chargers take Derek Watt, the younger brother of J.J. Watt and former teammate of Melvin Gordon in the sixth round. San Diego has one pick left (224) in this year's draft.

Jim Irsay on contract talks with QB Andrew Luck: "Talks are progressing well. We have gotten into serious discussions. We have made progress. I mentioned 4th of July before. I don't think that marker is something that needs to be watched as an indicator. We should be able to come to a deal. We still have ground to cover. There's no question about that. It takes time." Irsay also said he believes a deal will get done before training camp.
