Brett Favre on Aaron Rodgers: "He's almost too good. Crap, why doesn't he make a mistake every once in a while? All my good records are going to be broken and all my bad ones are going to stay. Throw a pick or four or six -- I tried that once."

LIONS 24, EAGLES 7 (HALF): Detroit is just decimating Philadelphia on Thanksgiving. Matthew Stafford is on pace for 400 yards and the Lions run defense is smothering another opponent. This is the third straight week where Detroit's run defense had looked like the 2014 version, which was the best run defense in the NFL.

Not Ray Lewis has your turkey motivation

Panthers cornerback Charles Tillman is stretching and working with the trainer. He is doubtful with a knee injury. It will be a game time decision after he gets through this phase but I would be surprised to see him play.

WR Danny Amendola (knee) was limited in the Patriots practice on Thanksgiving morning. Amendola injured his knee on Monday night and had an MRI on Tuesday. Amendola sprained the knee, according to Comcast SportsNet and is not expected to miss extended time. His status for Sunday nights game against the Broncos, however, remains in question. An additional injury note for New England: OT Sebastian Vollmer (concussion) has been removed from the teams injury report.

Calvin Johnson extends Lions' lead

Detroit is up 24-7 heading into the half, and it's thanks to Mr. Thanksgiving himself: Johnson extended his own record with a 9th receiving touchdown on the holiday. Follow live

Brett Favre, back in Green Bay before tonight's ceremony to unveil his retired No. 4 at Lambeau Field: "This is better than book material."

Report: Johnny Manziel lied about video

The Browns QB, who was demoted to third string this week after a video surfaced of him partying in a club in Austin, Texas, lied to the team about the timing of the video, a source told ESPN's Pat McManamon. As first reported by Fox Sports, Manziel told the team the video was old, and encouraged his friends to lie to the Browns, as well. Story

Honoring the House that Favre Built

The Packers will honor Brett Favre at tonight's game by retiring his No. 4, a tribute fitting for the guy who helped save Lambeau, according to Ron Wolf. "No one deserves it more than he does. He took this franchise and turned it around." Game-changing

Gronk scared to overeat at Thanksgiving?

It takes mental toughness not to eat too much, said Pats TE Rob Gronkowski: "Knowing you've got that huge pie in front of you and only eating a little piece. ... I know anyone in this locker room could put down like 6 pounds of food."
