Eric Ebron didn't practice Thursday and even rookie TE Adam Fuehne didn't practice. The Lions traded for Wright during last year's training camp and re-signed him in the offseason.

The Packers have waived QB Ryan Williams. He was signed in January after sitting out of football all of last season. To take his place, they signed former North Carolina QB Marquise Williams.

Ravens had their former RB Ray Rice speak to all their rookies Wednesday, telling them his story, "the good and bad."

Ray Rice spoke to the Ravens rookies after Wednesday's practice. In a statement, the Ravens said: "[Rice] delivered an important message that included his story, both the good and the bad. He clearly has the attention of our rookies." The Ravens abruptly released Rice in 2013 after a video surfaced showing him striking his then-fiancée.

Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin left Chiefs practice early with an apparent injury, though the situation didn't look serious. Maclin was slow to get off the ground after making a catch during a 7 on 7 passing drill. He walked on his own to the sideline, where he received no medical attention but did consult with trainer Rick Burkholder. Maclin soon left for the locker room unaccompanied by medical personnel.

On a positive injury note, Saints coach Sean Payton said RB C.J. Spiller's "health and movement skills look noticeably different" after his 2015 season was hampered by a summer knee injury. "He worked his butt off in the offseason to get that strength back in that ... knee," Payton said. "That's been real encouraging."
