Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee is undergoing concussion tests in the second quarter. He appeared to get hurt on the Saints’ second drive after a tackle on Mark Ingram run. He missed a series last week with a split lip that required stitches.

Cardinals rookie David Johnson on his fumbled KO return: "I think it was just ball in the wrong hand, a kindergarten thing. I had the ball on the inside. I should've had it on the outside."

Saints' Drew Brees looking healthy. He has completed 9 of 12 passes including a 3-yard TD pass to Josh Hill for a 7-3 lead over Cowboys. That TD pass also marked the 5,000th completion of his career (third in NFL history) and 399th TD pass (fifth).

RB Todd Gurley said he might "think about it tonight" but has no regrets about eschewing his first NFL touchdown to ice the Rams' win. Gurley could've scored on his final carry but knew falling down in bounds would end the game. QB Nick Foles called it a veteran move that doesn't surprise him considering the rookie running back's savvy approach.

Saints dodged a bullet on first series. Drew Brees should've been picked on third down, but it was dropped by Cowboys' Tyler Patmon. Brees got hit as he let it go and underthrew pass intended for Marques Colston.

Rams LB James Laurinaitis told me he's excited about 24-22 win against Arizona but won't enjoy it for long. Instead of the usual 24 hours, Laurinaitis said he'll savor victory for about three. The reason? The Rams head to Green Bay next week to face Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

Arians: It's disappointing to lose at home

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said he is disappointed in the team's discipline during the second half of the 24-22 loss to the Rams. "You’re not going to win very many games kicking field goals in the red zone and losing the turnover battle, especially in our division."

Cowboys (2-1) at Saints (0-3), 8:30 p.m. ET

The last time the Saints played at home against the Cowboys was in Week 10 of 2013 -- also on a Sunday night -- and they set a record with 40 1st downs in a 49-17 victory. But the 2015 Saints are a much different team and look to avoid their first 0-4 start since 2012. The Cowboys, on the other hand, go for a ninth straight NFC road win. Follow live

Saints QB Drew Brees is two TD passes shy of 400 for his career. He can become fifth QB in NFL history to reach that milestone, along with Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Dan Marino and Tom Brady (who just hit 400 last week). ... Brees also needs 9 completions to reach 5,000 (third in NFL history).

Jairus Byrd, Keenan Lewis and Dannell Ellerbe announced with starters as they all make their 2015 debut for Saints tonight. Could all be limited somewhat, though.

Kubiak thinks Broncos are improving

"We improved today offensively running the ball. We’re putting together some big drives at the right time. We’re finding a way as a team," Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said of their 23-20 win over the Vikings.
