Giants watching things fall their way

Talk about a fruitful vacation. Since they last played, the Giants have watched their NFC East brethren lose four of five games. A win on Sunday would leave New York up two games in the division with five weeks to go.

Reports: Danny Amendola out vs. Broncos

New England won't have Amendola against Denver's vaunted defense Sunday, according to multiple media reports. Amendola injured his knee in the Patriots' win over the Bills on Monday. With Julian Edelman and Aaron Dobson out and other WRs ailing, the Pats are down to two healthy WRs (Brandon LaFell and undrafted free agent Chris Harper).

Tom Brady as you've never seen him

When your dad jumps out of a leaf pile dressed as a turkey to surprise (scare?) you, it's pretty cool. When your dad is Tom Brady, it's even cooler.

When you're unbeaten...

And you have the night off.

Luck to miss Sunday's game vs. Bucs

Colts QB Andrew Luck will miss his second straight game with a lacerated kidney and partially torn abdominal muscle, coach Chuck Pagano said today. LT Anthony Castonzo will also miss Sunday's game with a sprained right medial collateral ligament for his first missed game since 2011.

Browns OC: Manziel may return this season

QB Johnny Manziel was demoted to third-string QB this week, but offensive coordinator John DeFilippo said Manziel could still take the field this season: "You don't close doors on anything. You never say never in this profession. To say that Johnny Manziel will not play again this season, I'm not ready to say that."

Ron Rivera remembers other perfect start

The Panthers coach played for the 1985 Bears, who started 12-0 before losing the night before filming the iconic "Super Bowl Shuffle" video. So Rivera is focusing his 11-0 team's attention on the next opponent. 12-0 again?
