Leah Still certainly will be visiting her father wherever he ends up getting picked up. Although she has been cleared for travel, Devon wanted to wait a little longer for her immune system to get back closer to normal.

Coley Harvey ESPN Staff Writer

In a conversation with Devon Still earlier in the week the now-former Bengals DT said he was looking forward to the possibility his 5-year-old daughter Leah would be at Cincinnati's home opener Sept. 20 vs. San Diego. She's been cleared to travel.

Tackle Babatunde Aiyegbusi, whom the Vikings signed from the Polish American Football League, posted on Facebook the Vikings have released him. The team had initially signed the 6-foot-9 tackle after a tryout in March.

Pat McManamon ESPN Staff Writer

The Browns will be down to QBs Josh McCown and Johnny Manziel when they get to the final 53. Thad Lewis and Pat Devlin were both informed they will be released. Devlin is a practice squad candidate. Coach Mike Pettine said Friday Manziel's rehab from his elbow injury was "on schedule."

Jamison Hensley ESPN Staff Writer

Ravens coach John Harbaugh on whether WR Breshad Perriman (knee) has a chance of practicing this week: "I don't know."

Michael Rothstein ESPN Staff Writer

Per colleague Field Yates, through a source, the Detroit Lions are releasing QB Kellen Moore and TE Joseph Fauria. Fauria seemed in trouble after the Lions traded for Tim Wright. Moore's release is somewhat surprising but could bode well for other bubble players.

Patriots CB Malcolm Butler on the transition from preseason to regular season: "We've been in game mode for preseason but now it's the real deal. Everything counts from here on out. It is a little more excitement, a little more tension."

Jeremy Fowler ESPN Senior NFL Writer

From me and Pat McManamon, the Browns have released QB Thad Lewis.

Patriots CB Malcolm Butler said that he has not seen Tom Brady's Facebook post. "Glad we got that out of the way and we move forward to Pittsburgh."

Coley Harvey ESPN Staff Writer

Back in June, Bengals DL coach Jay Hayes said this about Devon Still's evaluation: "The whole thing of who is the best guy is about who is the best guy. This is the NFL ... It's not about who had the hardest road. That's not how this is built. We are trying to put the best guys out there."

Kevin Seifert NFL Nation

Rare for NFL teams to cut players who just received substantial guarantees, but Raiders are flushing away at least $2.1 million in Christian Ponder + Trent Richardson. Colossal blunders by GM Reggie McKenzie.

Bill Williamson ESPN Staff Writer

Cut from this free-agent class; Ponder, Richardson and Dockery.

Mike Reiss ESPN Staff Writer

CB Malcolm Butler among those drawing a large media crowd in Patriots locker room today. Says he is determined to be known for more than Super Bowl INT.

John Keim ESPN Staff Writer

The Redskins have made at least two more cuts Saturday, releasing tackle Takoby Cofield and guard Tyler Larsen, per sources. The Redskins do like Cofield so it would make sense for them to re-sign him to the practice squad. They have him their highest signing bonus among undrafted players.

Todd Archer ESPN Staff Writer

If the Cowboys carry a third quarterback on the roster to start the season, it won’t be Dustin Vaughan, who has been informed of his release, according to a source. Vaughan spent last year on the active roster as the No. 3 behind Tony Romo and Brandon Weeden. If he clears waivers, he would likely be brought back to the practice squad. The fourth QB, Jameill Showers, will also be released.

Jamison Hensley ESPN Staff Writer

Per Adam Caplan, Ravens in process of trading undrafted rookie center Nick Easton to 49ers. Easton played well this preseason but Ravens have three solid centers in Jeremy Zuttah, John Urschel and Ryan Jensen

Jeremy Fowler ESPN Senior NFL Writer

No word yet from folks close to fourth-rounder Vince Mayle or Terrelle Pryor. Browns might need to make decision between those two receivers.

Rich Cimini @RichCimini

The Jets have cut Josh Johnson, per source. Entire salary would've been gtd. Leaves Fitzpatrick, Petty and injured Smith. 3nyj
