The Lions draft party is getting started with a lot of people eating. Team president Rod Wood and GM Bob Quinn are expected to address the crowd soon.

To sum up Mark Davis' visit to speak at the Southern Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee meeting at UNLV on Thursday: "If (the Committee) recommends (the proposal) and the (state) legislature passes it and the NFL approves it we want to become your partners and put $500 million toward the project, which will transform Las Vegas." From the Raiders' perspective, the project includes a retractable roof stadium with a grass field, a team facility with fields and offices, perhaps modeled after the Cowboys' Star complex, and a Raiders Hall of Fame.

In about two hours, the Ravens will make their selection for the No. 6 overall pick (barring a trade). This is where GM Ozzie Newsome will address the media after the pick.

If the Titans move up, I think it will be for DL DeForest Buckner or OT Ronnie Stanley. GM Jon Robinson may see a jump to No. 6 or No. 8 as manageable price-wise. Question is if either of them lasts until then.

Mean Joe Greene is at Steelers headquarters tonight, Hall of Fame blazer and all. Media pictures aren't allowed in the building, but trust that Joe looks like he could still play a few snaps.

Cal QB Jared Goff and his mother made the rounds on the red carpet. He was among the last players to be introduced on the red carpet, but will he be the first when the draft begins?

How about this? Per ESPN Stats & Information, the most successful (in terms of the number of Pro Bowlers) draft picks since 2000 are the 1st, 9th and 24th overall picks. Each have produced 10 Pro Bowlers in that span. Will the Bengals at 24 find another tonight?

My best bets for the Saints at No. 12: 1. Trade down 2. Sheldon Rankins 3. Shaq Lawson There's a good chance they'll take a QB at some point, but I don't expect it in Round 1.

The last 5 Pac-12 QB to be selected 1st overall (Luck, Palmer, Bledsoe, Aikman, Elway) combined for 25 Pro Bowls

If the Seahawks stay at No. 26, here is my best guess at the five prospects they're most likely to end up with: Texas A&M OL Germain Ifedi, Mississippi St. DT Chris Jones, Louisiana Tech DT Vernon Butler, Alabama C Ryan Kelly or Indiana OL Jason Spriggs.

Ezekiel Elliott wears crop top at NFL draft

Elliott couldn't sport this look with the Buckeyes last year, but he whipped out the crop top shirt on the red carpet before tonight's NFL draft. Unique look

If the Cowboys really are deciding between Jalen Ramsey and Ezekiel Elliott at four, the eventual choice could be valuable insight into the decision-making in Dallas. Stephen Jones talked father Jerry out of drafting Johnny Manziel for Zack Martin two years ago; can he steer Big D towards Ramsey this time around?
